Following a significant growth in business and investment in new equipment, online mailing company Postworks has moved to larger premises doubling production capacity.

The efficiencies of an online print and post service have become apparent in these times of unprecedented challenge and a variety of new businesses have signed up to the service.

Moving to the new site has caused no disruptions to the service for customers and throughout the transition security and customer experience has been fully maintained.

The move has also allowed engineers to continue with production whilst maintaining social distancing guidance.

James Booker - Postworks, Online franking

James Booker, Postworks CEO, said:

“Perhaps growth during this crisis can be seen as bittersweet, but it’s reassuring to us that we are supporting thousands of organisations during such turbulent times.

It isn’t really feasible for employees working from home to take the franking machine and printer from the office during the lockdown so having a service they can send post from home with just the internet makes a lot of sense.

Our team has gone the extra yard at helping small businesses, the NHS, and even whole councils switch over to online franking.

That’s testament to the dedicated team that is Postworks.”

Postworks have responded to the urgency caused by the Coronavirus pandemic onboarding some customers including local councils within 24 hours.

Organisations, to whom it is essential that they are able to continue to send post, such as the NHS and financial institutions, have been successfully able to send their post remotely with no disruption to their working capacity.

Postworks is an online franking company providing businesses with an online cloud-based alternative to franked postage.

Organisations, from a variety of sectors, use the browser based Postworks’ platform to ‘drag and drop’ their post for same-day electronic sorting, printing and folding at the secure Postworks printing centre before being handed over to the Royal Mail for delivery.
